NOPE, I was about to be let down big time I purchased the Largest model, Bowie I believe it's called. It worked well, in fact it was great so good that I wanted to upgrade and thought I had found a brand both made in USA and was dependable. I originally bought the smallest model smoker. Bottom line: Green Mountain Grills WILL NOT stand behind their product.Ä«uyer Beware! I have owned Green Mountain Grills for almost 5 years. I have since bought a weber and have been happy and stress free since. Model was a Jim Bowie Green Mountain Grill. I was disgusted over the product and wish I didn't waste the $500 on it. You'll never, ever have to worry about me ever buying a green mountain product again. After all the heartache and issues that occurred over the time I had this grill I foolishly asked if green mountain grill would give me a discount on a new grill (yes, I should have asked for a new one with all the issues I had but at least asked for a discount) and the reply I got was'no'. Needless to say I yarded the grill off my deck with my tractor and put it in the junk pile where it belongs. I would have more faith in a match stick holding a constant temperature than the green mountain grill I had. The grill made a constant grinding noise. Never again will I buy any of their products. ![]() They pretend to care but never actually help with the issues. I have 75ish emails exchanged with this company over a 1 year span trying to get my grill fixed and it was push back all the time. I could write a novel over the issues that occurred with their grills. Can't even begin to describe the issues I encountered with green mountain grills.
